Transportation Visit Salt Lake

Information about travel and accommodation for participants of the 68th United Nations Civil Society Conference, 26 - 28 August 2019, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA


TRAVEL

Participants of the 68th United Nations Civil Society Conference are welcome to use special rates from Delta Air Lines and American Airlines to travel to Conference in Salt Lake City.

ACCOMMODATION

Discounted hotel rates are available for Conference participants. The participating Hotels will meet all tastes and budgets, and are located within walking distance to the Salt Palace Convention Center and/or several free-ride TRAX Stations. Hotel reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served, space available basis. Submit your request as soon as possible for the best opportunity of receiving your hotel choice. 

Deadline

All reservations must be received by July 25, 2019, to guarantee availability and conference rates.  After this date, reservations will be made based on availability and hotels may charge higher rates. 

Deposit

When booking your hotel accommodations, you must provide a valid credit card number to guarantee payment.  Your credit card WILL NOT BE CHARGED during this initial stage and will be held as a GUARANTEE only.  On or after July 25, 2019, your hotel will charge a non-refundable deposit of two night’s room and tax.

Acknowledgments

The travel and accommodations vendor (Orchid Events) will send reservation acknowledgements within 24 hours via email if booked online or by telephone. If you do not receive your acknowledgement in this time frame, contact Orchid Events. You will not receive a written confirmation from the hotel.

Cancellations & Changes

Reservations cancelled between June 18, 2019 and July 24, 2019 will be charged one night’s room and tax charged by Orchid Events. Any reservation cancelled on or after July 25, 2019 will forfeit deposit of two night’s room and tax charged by the Hotel.
Through July 24, 2019 changes and cancellations can be made online or by contacting Orchid Events via e-mail to help@orchid.events. After July 24, 2019, contact your hotel to make changes and/or cancellations.
