Exhibitions organized for the general public at UN Headquarters in New York are displayed in the Visitors’ Lobby, which is part of the General Assembly building.

Exhibitions open to the public feature photographic and multimedia displays on important topics on the UN agenda, such as human rights, sustainable development, climate change, children in armed conflict, violence against women, and more.

Admission

Admission is free
Monday-Friday 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Weekends: 10:00 am – 4:30 pm (closed weekends January and February)
Government-issued photo identification is required for visitors 18 years and older.

Closure for 2017

The United Nations will be closed to visitors from 18-29 September 2017 due to the 72nd General Assembly's Debate at UNHQ.
January 1-2, April 14, May 29, June 5-6-7-8-9, June 26, July 4, August 31, September 4, November 23 and December 25

UN Exhibits is an online gallery featuring currently on view and previous exhibitions displayed in the United Nations Visitors’ Lobby and in other spaces open to the public at UN Headquarters in New York. UN Exhibits is not an exhaustive online gallery as it does not feature all the displays that were presented at the United Nations. UN Exhibits includes the most informative exhibitions, those that best illustrate a key theme on the UN agenda.
